Last Minute Marriage Proposal Planning at Sapphire Point

Arian and I had bounced a couple of emails back in forth but due to his work schedule it was very difficult for him to talk with me. On the Saturday morning of the day he wanted to propose we had about 10 minutes on the phone to make a hasty plan. We decided on Sapphire Point. Now Arian lives in Denver but his girlfriend V (now his fiancee) lives in Dallas. She was here visiting and he had not a moment to spare. He convinced her to take a drive from Denver to Frisco, CO. Arian is a newly transplanted member of Colorado. He had zero experience with the mountains and was relying on me 100% to guide him with his marriage proposal plan and execution. With a little help he arrived to our spot only to find it occupied by a family having their photographs taken. Without being able to speak directly to Arian I watched him wander from the Sapphire Point Ovlerlook area down towards the edge of the cliff. I sent him a quick text saying “do it right there and right now”. Here is what I captured….
